Removal of sprayed asbestos insulation (limpet) from ceiling beams throughout the hospital. Removal of substantial amounts of Asbestos Insulating Board and Hardset Asbestos Pipe Lagging including debris.

Asbestech were procured by Cardiff Dental Hospital to undertake full asbestos remediation, decontamination and reinstatement works throughout the hospital.

The Dental Hospital is the only one of its type in Wales and provides unique and important leadership in dental research, training and patient care. The hospital has spent over £11m on renovation and refit and now has state of the art clinics throughout.

Many parts of the hospital were occupied during the works so Health and Safety including project planning were key priorities in our customers project vision.

With a team of 40 Operatives and Supervisors including the project management team Asbestech carried out all works within timecales and budget. All critical success factors agreed within the Key Performance Indicators were achieved.
