Asbestech Ltd is pleased to welcome on board Brian Stone, our new Quality Manager.
Brian brings with him a wealth of experience gained from previous roles within the field of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management where he has assisted different organisations to achieve their accreditation and conformity goals.
“I’m really excited about the future at Asbestech,” said Brian. “It became clear from the very beginning that I have joined a team that is really focussed on delivering the best service, in the safest way, within our industry. I have been asked to use my experience to drive the organisation onwards and make sure that it meets its philosophy of continual improvement.”
Daniel Chalkley, Asbestech Ltd Managing Director, was equally enthused. “I’m confident that Brian was the right choice at the right time for us,” he said. “At a difficult time for our industry we are growing our customer base by applying our principles of Safety, Performance and Quality right across the board. Brian has the right tools and the right values to drive us on and make sure that we reach the next level ahead of everyone else.”
Among Brians responsibilities will be the continuation of the companies accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, two achievements that the company is rightly proud of, and the further development of the procedures and policies utilised by the company in its operations and management. He will also assume day to day control of the companies auditing processes for SHEQ, which is comprised of both internal and external auditors visiting a large percentage of the companies sites without warning.
