In the vibrant world of grassroots football, remarkable individuals come together to foster community spirit, and Rob Bevis, our dedicated Contracts Manager, is a shining example. Recently, Rob was proud to be honoured with the prestigious London Borough of Hillingdon Community Award, recognising his exceptional commitment and impact within grassroots football. Rob’s involvement with local clubs spans over 40 years, during which time he has coached and managed numerous youth teams. Currently, Rob is a driving force within the Sandgate Football Club committee and manages the men’s team.
Rob routinely steps in to assist coaching sessions within the club and dedicates time to help maintain the excellent playing pitches at Bourne Farm. Rob plays a pivotal role in the annual Sandgate FC Tournament, which attracts over 300 teams each summer and raises more than £30,000 to support club fundraising efforts.
